SWF Upload uses (as the name implies) a Shockwave browser plugin to access the local filesystem and transfer of the selected files. Due to the (widely available) browser plugin it's available on mostly any computer, but not supported on Unix machines. Also, due to restrictions in the browser plugin, the behaviour of the flash plugin may vary on different platforms and versions of Flash.

XUpload Pro is a CGI based web browser upload solution integrated into OS4X Webaccess. It provides a platform-independant solution for file upload without any additional browser plugin integration. It transfers the file with displaying status and speed information. Up to 5 files can be selected for batch transfer. After each transfer, more files can be selected.

  • works on Unix
  • browser plugin independant

SWF Upload uses (as the name implies) a Shockwave browser plugin to access the local filesystem and transfer of the selected files. Due to the (widely available) browser plugin it's available on mostly any computer, but not supported on Unix machines. Also, due to restrictions in the browser plugin, the behaviour of the flash plugin may vary on different platforms and versions of Flash.

  • fast and easy access for multiple file upload
  • widely available
  • nice GUI
